I’m delighted to announce that I received the 2nd prize - Category 3 (soloists up to the age of 26 studying in an academic institute) at the Tel Aviv Recorder Competition last week in Israel.
I was also in contention for the Special Prize for Best Performance of an Israeli piece to which I was also awarded the 2nd prize.
I return humbled from this experience, whilst getting out of my comfort zone has given me the opportunity for self-growth and empowerment. I’ve evolved both as an individual & a musician, giving me the strength to keep doing what I do with passion.
Getting out of your comfort zone is so enriching, that it should inspire us to constantly be hard towards what we know, and curious towards what we don’t. In that aspect, it will make us all more kind and compassionate humans. Something we should all strive for!
