Strangely artistic, isn’t it? As a musician, nature has always been something I wished to incorporate in my playing. But this quote states a bit more: on a musical context - to understand it, and communicate it - one should feel all the emotions and the passions, for it will make the delivery honest and sincere.

This is certainly something I strive for in my practice as a rhetorical music performer. The recorder allows me to imitate the human voice to arouse the passions of the listener. My love for the ‘flauto dolce’ has brought me to develop a special interest towards the original recorders, that are for me tokens of beauty and expression.
