As mentionned before, my research is centered around historical instruments : before describing the process of making a copy of an original recorder, I wish to contextualise those instruments in today’s Early Music world.
How important are those old objects to young promising artists stuyding ‘Historically Informed Practice’? How are those regarded by professional musicians, if known at all? How important are they for instrument makers?
This is where you come in! Are you a professional musician playing any kind of medieval, renaissance or baroque instrument, or are you currently studying in order to become one? Are you an instrument maker, with or without experience with authentic instruments?
You are then very welcome to take part in this survey by clicking on the following link:

Any participation will be highly appreciated, and will be of great help for my research. You know other fellow musicians, or builders? Feel free to share around. The more people take part, the more relevant it becomes!
Thank you very much in advance!
