Christmas and music are internally intertwined. Today's Christmas hits are part of a long tradition of songs sung every year only during the Advent season. Some of these ancient songs, be they carols, villancicos or noels, are still known and loved today. In a festive program we play Christmas carols from all over Europe in their Baroque guise. We also play some of our favourite ensemble works. Because what better suits the Christmas spirit than making music together?
